Class Description

Canine Relate is hosting workshops with Kamal Fernandez in May/June 2025. Kamal Fernandez is an internationally renowned dog sports coach, with students competing at the top level in various dog sports, including Obedience, Agility, Working Trials, IPG, HWTM and many more. His reinforcement-based system of training has seen his own dogs and that of his students, achieve their goals across the globe, in various dog sports. Kamal's lectures and seminars are in high demand across the world and his systematic layered approach to training, creates a confident well-adjusted family pet and amazing sports dog! Saturday 31st May – Sports Skills This workshop will cover sports related skills including – • Start line waits • Impulse Control • Settling • Dynamic Reinforcement • Focus • Using platforms • Adding distractions • Enjoying the game together Dogs will work in small groups. Dogs who need a little space from dogs and people to feel comfortable can be accommodated. Further details Workshops will run from 9.30am until 5pm approximately. Our venue is The Dog Field at Pilning near Bristol. This is an outdoor venue with a grass field and all weather arena. Handler places are £100 per workshop. Spectator places are £40 per workshop. Refreshments will be supplied. No smoking or vaping is allowed on site. Payment is needed at the time of booking and places are non-refundable.
